Final Post

this blog is having time out… most likely retiring…

Whilst blog by belinda is no longer active, I’ve maintained every article and post as they stand.

So you are welcome to navigate the categories and content still here. You’ll likely find something of interest if you are looking for marketing tips and in particular online and email marketing tips!

Why am I retiring this blog?

It’s a personal decision based on a few factors. To be honest, it just doesn’t feel natural to blog here anymore. I’ve struggled with whether to make this a purely business blog or to allow personal reflections here. And in the end the conflict remained unresolved and in fact caused me to not blog at all.

In saying that, this blog has served it’s purposes. It still generates traffic and leads so I will not be deleting it just yet!

For some time it has been nagging at me to bite the bullet and let it rest. Now it’s done I can move on…

So as I redesign how I blog… stay tuned as I am looking forward to launching some new projects very soon!

What I create next will be from my truth and will be created exactly as I wish!

In the meantime please navigate around the current blog, or visit www.webchameleon.com.au. I’d be pretty happy too if you signed up for my newsletter - and it’ll give me a chance to repay you by valuing you as a subscriber and offering you great tips and content in the coming months.

And if it’s your preference I’m also on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Mining for Gold in all that you do

Wednesday Nov 18, 2009

I’ve just returned from Ali Brown’s ‘Shine’ event in Las Vegas. It was a fantastic event, I had a really wonderful time and I achieved all that I intended to achieve by attending the event.

I noticed that there were lots of different opinions, comments and feedback both during the event and after the event. There were a lot of positive comments and also negative comments. It made me realise that we are all so different! Whether it is an event, how we run our business or how we manage our time, we all come from a totally different and unique place. Our mindsets vary, our priorities vary and what we value most in our lives vary.

Five Google Tips

Tuesday Dec 16, 2008

It amazes me the amount of functionality Google provides freely to the world. Over the years it keeps increasing and a lot of their services are simply superb. Below I have put together Five Google Tools that I find helpful and useful and maybe you will too!! This is certainly not everything Google offer, just my favourites!

Google One - Google Analytics - Analyze website traffic

When you sign up for this you will be given a small snippet of code that your web developer needs to paste into all the pages on your website. By doing this Google Analytics can then provide you with easy access to your own personal easy-to-understand reports that track visitors to your website as well as visitor origin, length of stay and many other statistics. This can help you to know what is going on to make measurable improvements to marketing campaigns and websites over time.
