Strategy 3 is LIST BUILDING
Growing your Email List is always a popular topic in my Newlsetters. When I recently surveyed my readers it came out near the top of the most asked questions:
* How do I grow my list of prospects to email to? *
Why Email Marketing? An email newsletter makes marketing so much easier. Almost without fail, each time I publish a newsletter, I will hear back from subscribers ready to work with me or puchase one of my offerings. I haven’t had to convince them or ’sell’ to them. They’ve come to know, like and trust me over time through the medium of my newsletter, so that now they are ready to find out how they can work with me. Easy…
TWO Quick Tips to grow that Email List;
1) Your Website: Having an Effective Website and/or Blog and using your web presence to attract and build an email database allows you to form the beginnings of a relationship with prospects. Not everyone who visits your website will be ready to pull out their credit card and buy from you or to employ your services. The reality is they often need time and trust to feel confident in spending money with you.
Allowing your prospects to get to know, like and trust you through a regular Email Newsletter can win your customers in both the short and the long term. Ensure your website is working for you by encouraging visitors to subscribe to an Email Newsletter. You may need to offer an incentive such as a free report, gift or discount coupon to get them to take action.
2) Ask at every Opportunity: Whenever speaking with potential clients on the phone or in person ensure you ask them if they’d like to recieve a copy of your Email Newsletter and explain how it would be helpful to them. And if they agree, add them to your list immediately or as soon as possible.
Personally I plan to ramp up my own Marketing to grow my Ezine Subscriber List in 2009. Will you be growing yours too?
